What time do you go to bed and wake up currently?
Currently, I go to bed around 12:00 AM, even though I feel extremely tired by that time. Ironically, despite the exhaustion, I find it hard to fall asleep.
My mind stays restless, replaying thoughts from the day or worrying about tasks waiting for tomorrow. It’s as if my body is ready to sleep, but my mind refuses to switch off.
Every morning, I wake up at 6:00 AM to help my elder child get ready for school. After that, I go back to bed and try to catch some extra sleep, usually waking up again around 8:30 AM.
However, this fragmented rest doesn’t leave me feeling refreshed. It feels more like survival than rest.
What I truly miss is a happy and stress-free sleep—the kind that lets you wake up with a light heart and an energized body.
Constant mental fatigue and irregular sleep patterns have taken a toll not only on my physical health but also on my emotional well-being.
I am now realizing how important it is to prioritize better sleep hygiene. That includes reducing screen time before bed, practicing deep breathing or light reading, and possibly setting a fixed sleep schedule.
My goal is to reclaim restful nights—not just for better health, but for a calmer, more balanced life.
