Are there things you try to practice daily to live a more sustainable lifestyle?
Yes, I try to practice a few small but meaningful habits daily to live a more sustainable lifestyle.
One of the first things I focus on is reducing waste — I avoid single-use plastic, carry my own cloth bag while shopping, and reuse containers and bottles whenever possible.
I’ve also made a conscious shift toward using less water and electricity, turning off lights and fans when not needed, and fixing leaks immediately.
Another habit I follow is mindful consumption. I try to buy only what I truly need, especially when it comes to clothing, food, and gadgets. Food waste is something I actively avoid — I plan meals ahead, store leftovers properly, and try to compost kitchen waste.
I also prefer walking or using public transport instead of always relying on a car or bike. Even small actions like avoiding unnecessary printing or using both sides of paper at home or work make a difference.
Most importantly, I try to stay aware and educated about sustainability and talk to others about it too.
These daily habits may seem small, but when practiced consistently, they contribute to a healthier planet and help build a more responsible lifestyle — something I believe is our shared duty.
